Candidate must possess at least Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate in any field.
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent.
MAIN RESPONSIBILTY: To carry out the assigned duties and functions as an electrician.
To follow the company policy on PPE gear. NO PPE, NO WORK. MARKED ABSENT.
To ensure that the company's tools and equipment are properly used at the site and to report to the Foreman if repairs and maintenance are needed for these tools and equipment.
To inform the Foreman about all issues and concerns related to his job so that the Foreman and Project Engineer can act accordingly to resolve these issues and concerns
To follow the company policy on proper grooming (clean clothes and shoes, ID, hair, etc).
To perform other functions that may be assigned to the employee from time to time.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. May install or service street lights, intercom systems, or electrical control systems.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
