Responsibilities
Prepares specific test plans for system electrical activities as required
Plans and coordinates the on-site and on-track electrical tests with subsystems
Coordinates the necessary means for the realisation of the electrical tests
Produces, updates method statement for the electrical activities to be conducted
Coordinates and follow-up the permit requests for the electrical activities as required
Provides support to the VTA Manager for the readiness reviews of the participating units, which are mandatory as pre-requisites to the systems tests
Reports to the VTA Manager work progress
Implement the technical and safety processes all the time
Follow the necessary e-learning, site inductions, safety and technical trainings required for the project and for the position.
Acquires knowledge and full understanding on the Electrical LV and MV subsystems to safely operate the equipment during the Temporary Operation period
Able to issue Isolation Permit after an electrical isolation process of electrical equipment or section
Able to restore electrical power safely on an electrical equipment or section previously isolated
Performance Measurement

Completeness of testing and validations activities and reports
Meet contractual performances targets
Project VTA Manager's satisfaction
Project Temporary Operation Manager's satisfaction
Accountabilities
Electrical operation conducted on time with respect to safe procedures
Performs works with respect to EHS rules
Knowledge / Experience:
Mandatory:
Minimum 5 years experience in Low and Medium Voltage electrical systems
Experience in Railway system
Experience in traction power system
Electrical switching operation
Broad Knowledge of the subsystems / products to be tested and commissioned
Able to read schematics and to trouble shoot systems for fault finding
Capable to use testing means and measure required performance
Desirable:
Overhead Line Equipment
Protection relays testing and set up
SCADA
Educational Requirements
Advanced University Degree in electrical engineering
