Job Description
Testing and commissioning of substation, reply to protection systems (relays). Testing and commissioning of substation DC systems (battery chrger, battery back and UPS if possible.
Testing and commissioning of electrical switchgear. Testing and commissioning of substation.
Supervise the maintenance of protection equipment of an electric power distribution system to reduce interruption to service. Coordinate with the repair, test and installation of equipment
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Aware and experienced in all testing equipment related to the relay testing and breaker testing. Obtain certifications from relay manufacturers. Perform retrofitting of old relay.
Testing protection relays, review setting, implement new setting, perform maintenance activities and verify the performance of the relay. Download and verify the replay operations.
