Job Requirement:
Must be a licensed Electrical Engineer
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with other departmental concerns
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary work ethics
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Good knowledge of Machines, Equipment, and tools that they will have to deal with on a daily basis. They also must be familiar with tools that they may have to use occasionally
Sound in all aspects of mathematics
Must be abreast with the latest trends in electrical engineering. Aware of design tools and techniques.
Job Description:
Assist in the design, development, troubleshooting, and evaluation of new and existing equipment
Examine reasons for machine failure and locate the exact problem. Suggest remedial measures and give repair instructions
Install and maintain machines by applying electrical engineering principles
Drafts and lays out wiring diagrams and contract plans as assigned
Analyze and Improve equipment’s performance
Develop and Schedule Preventive Maintenance Program to all Electrical facilities assigned
Performs Preventive and Corrective maintenance together with Electrical technicians to all equipment assigned
Communicate routinely and effectively with Electrical Supervisor and Engineering head of activities progress and status
Uses computer applications or other automated systems such as CAD, spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and data software in performing work assignments
Ensure accurate documentation of all electrical maintenance work
Ensure that electrical systems and equipment are well maintained according to standards in order to meet expected plant and equipment availability and reliability
Communicates with other staff to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Provides assistance to other Engineering staff as needed
Responds to after-hour emergencies as requested
Performs other and related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Engineering Manager or Engineering head.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Comply with all security and safety procedures restrictions associated with work duties as mandated by the Management.
