Could you be the full-time Electrical Engineer Traction Motor in Wien, Austria we're looking for
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll report to Roman Plattner (Engineering Manager Drives - Vienna), and work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.
You'll play an important part in the perform of the electrical calculations for Traction Motor and its components.
We'll look to you to:
Contribue to or leads innovation topics and cooperates with R&D
Analyse Customer documentation and specific requirements
Create project and design related documentation.
Work with supply management, specifies part properties and assesses supplier capabilities.
Communicates with suppliers in technical related tasks.
Supports warranty and service departments
Performs investigation of parts and products related to drive system
Writes reports and contributes to root cause analysis.

Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
work experience or relevant field of study in Electrical Engineering (Traction Motor design, Transportation systems)
Knowledge in motor related simulation tools, e.g. Flux2D, Fluxmotor, Motor-CAD, Matlab
Advanced user in MS Excel, knowledge of other MS business suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Good knowledge of Railway technology beneficial
Fluent in German and English

The minimum salary for this position is 42.000 gross/year for full-time employment according to the collective bargaining agreement. Overpayment depends on relevant work experience and qualifications.
