Graduate of Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Supervisor; Registered Electrical Engineer is preferred.
Work Experience
2 to 3 years as Engineering /Electrical Supervisor in a food processing plant.
Job Summary
Electrical Supervisor is responsible for providing equipment maintenance related Electrical Supply, Controls, Instrumentation & Automation in the Factory (Production, Building Facility & Utilities) Facility Improvements and Support manufacturing operational activities, continuous manufacturing performance / improvement and projects.
Essential Job Functions
- Ensure a high availability of the production lines through leadership and execution of improvement projects, troubleshooting and break-down analysis of Production Equipment, Factory Automation, Electrical Systems and Instruments.
- Supervision of Shift Electrician on Facilities, Plant Utilities and Production Equipment's all the times.
- Ensures correct application of operational procedures, monitoring and controls.
- Establishes work procedures that is inherent to the operation of Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation.
- Works in close coordination with the Production Department with regards to production requirement for Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation Issues.
- Prepare and Manage calibration schedule for the Factory and Supervise Technician and 3rd Party Calibration group.
- Implement maintenance and inspection plans to ensure reliability, sustainability and Security of the Electrical, Automation System.
- Execute the maintenance of the Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation System accordance with the PMCI Maintenance Strategy with disciplined approach to proactively maintain/improve the fixed assets as the process to manage the asset lifecycle.
- Act as Line Supervisor with capability to repair and troubleshoot equipment during Line Breakdown / stoppages.
- Ensures personnel are equipped with the proper knowledge in operation, maintenance and repair of Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation Issues.
- Establish training and development program for personnel
- Monitors and evaluate performance of personnel in operation, maintenance and repair abilities.
- Ensures that all Electrical Distribution Panels, Switchgears and are operated in safe manner and conforms to legal and environmental regulations.
- Ensures that all personnel are knowledgeable on electrical safety practices and PPEs required in their operation.
- Ensures that all personnel are equipped with personnel protective equipment necessary to carry out their work.
- Initiates electrical safety inspections, exercise and active participation of personnel on safety activities.
- Ensure that existing installations are well maintain with a high degree of flexibility to better enable the operations to adjust to a changing environment keeping in mind the issue of product and people safety.
- Establish monitoring procedures and data bank for operational review and analysis for Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation and Facility Management Section
- Initiates improvement and energy saving concepts for Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation and Facilities Management Section.
- Ensure that all expenditures are controlled within the allowed budget.
- Prepares reports on energy utilization, section objectives, technical budgets, investment and proposals on for Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation and Facilities Management Section
