JOB DESCRIPTION
Due to a strong pipeline of projects, our UAE team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Electrical Drafter- ELV to undertake a variety of projects across the region.
In this role, you will work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team across a variety of infrastructure, buildings, transport, and other project types. This role will see you involved in
Lead the drafting works for Electrical/Telecom systems, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to project specifications and standards.
Generate detailed drawings, plans, and schematics for electrical wiring, lighting systems, power distribution, and telecommunications infrastructure.
Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into precise technical drawings.
Utilize technical capabilities in ACAD, Revit, and Navisworks to create 2D and 3D models, ensuring an accurate representation of electrical and telecom components.
Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks, identifying and resolving conflicts between different systems.
Assist in the development and maintenance of drafting standards and procedures, ensuring consistency and efficiency in drafting processes.
Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and regulations related to electrical and telecom systems, incorporating them into the drafting work as necessary.
Provide support and guidance to junior draftspersons, reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness.
What you will bring to the team
Proficiency in ACAD (AutoCAD), Revit, and Navisworks is essential.
In-depth knowledge of electrical and telecom system design principles, codes, and standards.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and error-free technical drawings.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) concepts and workflows is a plus.
Applicants must have working rights in the Philippines.
The position is open to be assigned in Makati, Quezon City, and Cebu City offices, depending on your location and preference.
