ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
 
JOB SUMMARY:
 
Involves in design works, supports the electrical/electronic aspects of the product like schematics creation, PCB layout, parts and component selection, analysis, design verifications, prototyping, power up and troubleshooting
 
A. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate/perform designs related to electrical and electronics of the product
Create schematic diagrams and wiring/harness design and guide
Layout PCB
Select parts/components
Perform design analysis like worst case analysis, DFMEA, thermal analysis and RPA
Perform simulations
Perform design verifications and validations
Do prototyping, power up and troubleshooting
Collaborate to fellow engineers
Perform related documentations
Ensure on time delivery of the project/task
In general, supports all the technical needs of the product related to electricals and electronics
B. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Background: Must be graduate of engineering course preferably EE, EcE and ComE
Experience: Must be experienced in doing designs related to electrical and electronics for not less than 3 years.
Knowledge, Skills and Attitude:
Must have basic engineering knowledge
Knowledgeable in electrical and electronic components functions and operation
Expert in prototyping, testing and troubleshooting
Adept in using engineering tools like DMM, LCR, oscilloscopes, etc.
Able to use computer aided simulation, circuit and PCB design tools
Having high analytical and technical skills
Able to interpret or read schematic diagrams
Hardworking, smart, open-minded, flexible and can work under pressure and with less supervision
