Position Purpose
Responsible for diagnosing and repairing machine and PLC faults and optimising the operation of machinery and product quality.
Responsibilities
Diagnosing and rectifying faults and providing solutions to prevent re-occurrence of faults. Prioritising own work to maximize machine output and achieve defined machine performance targets.
Repairing/replacing components as required. Keeping abreast of machine developments by understanding manufacturers' machine manuals.
Liaising with team leaders & communicating with all levels of the workforce. Reading and understanding machine drawings and identifying required parts. Improvising and modifying as and when required.
Perform any other tasks commissioned by the supervisor. Compliance with EHS procedures, labor law, corporate guidance, internal regulations and work performance instructions.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field with a minimum of 3 years working experience in the same function. Good working knowledge of business and related processes is an advantage. Experience in high speed manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Skills, Competencies & Languages
Have deep background in troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
Good English communication skills, computer literate
