BMG Outsourcing is looking for an E-Discovery analyst to join our e-Discovery / Forensic Technology team. We are looking for applicants with excellent attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as a keen interest in technology.
As an analyst in our forensic technology group based in Sydney you'll work as part of a diverse team and will learn the specialist skills and methodologies used in eDiscovery, digital forensics and cyber investigations.
Job Responsibilities:
assist with data collection, copying and analysis for digital forensic and eDiscovery projects
complete all evidence management procedures
process client data for upload and review in our review platforms
configure workspaces and manage user permissions
assist clients with searching, review and ad-hoc tasks
conduct forensic imaging of computers and other electronic devices to find and secure evidence
assist with aspects of digital and cyber investigations alongside our expert investigators
research new opportunities and assist with the preparation of proposals
attend training courses to keep up to date with industry-leading software
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years work experience in eDiscovery or a similar field
an IT, computer science or law degree with strong academic results
experience using Relativity or Nuix Discover (Ringtail)
excellent analytical and technical skills, with an ability to think outside-the-box
Excel and data manipulation skills
an interest in the application of technology in the legal industry
strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of accuracy
Generally able to work with a team
Excellent time ('To do list') management & prioritisation
Effective communicator
Professional and detail-oriented
