Primary Responsibilities
Assists the Business Director in overseeing the business development and actual operations of E-Learning Services of KN. Performs administrative function for the effective and efficient implementation of objectives, targets, and programs of the E-Learning Services of KN.
Facilitates the Creation, Development, Improvement and Design of Training Course Modules for both existing and future courses of the SGS Academy
Conducts Industry-Specific Training Needs Analysis as an input to possible courses / programs that may be offered in the SGS Academy
Creates and monitors the Performance Metrics for the team and ensures that those targets are met.
Reviews product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.
Consults with course development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of overall system.
Recommends design improvements or corrections to Course Developers throughout the development process.
Coordinates and Benchmarks with the Global SGS Affiliate network for updates and best practices about the Product.
Ensures compliance to the Group and national policies including but not limited to the maintenance of the Quality Management System.
Operating to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity.
Complies with the QHSE policies including but not limited to:
Demonstrates strong commitment to SGS QHSE Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions by participating in safety meetings, completing required training, intervening in unsafe situations, refusing unsafe work, and complying fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to QHSE.
Responds appropriately to emergency situations and assists other staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies within the workplace.
In accordance with the SGS QHSE Management System requirements, maintains a clean and safe work area
Reports all incidents (actual incidents and near misses) in accordance with the SGS Incident Reporting requirements.
Uses all equipment (including safety equipment) in the manner intended and reports any damaged / lost equipment to the manager.
Maintains awareness of hazards and proposes controls to supervisor, QHSE Representatives or relevant client / site contact.
Actively participates in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by SGS management
Qualifications
Profile
The E-Learning Systems Head should have either a bachelor's or degree in Education, Instructional Design, or any related subject.
Highly analytical and possess creative and intuitive problem-solving ability.
Able to communicate ideas and concepts clearly and accurately.
Excellent writing and editing skills, highly attentive to details and be able to manage time accordingly.
Knows how to use computers and software applications such as word processor, database management, and presentation software.
Required Skills
At least 3-year experience as a course developer
Highly competent in authoring eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline 360
Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly and accurately
Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
High attention to detail
Ability to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines
Work independently
Team player
Ability to listen and identify needs and requirements
Service oriented
Organization skills
Accountability, results driven.
Additional Information
Experience/Technical Knowledge
Experience of multi-cultural environments.
Experience or training in customer service work
