Overview
 
The Driver/Messenger is responsible for safe and efficient transportation, timely delivery and retrieval of documents, and handling both collections and bank deposits. The role supports the company's operational, administrative, and financial processes with accuracy, honesty, and professionalism.  
 
Driving Duties
Safely transport documents, supplies, and materials to designated locations.
Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and proper operation of the company vehicle.
Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any issues immediately.
Keep an updated and accurate logbook of all trips.
Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies.
Messenger Duties
Deliver and pick up documents, packages, permits, checks, invoices, and other company materials.
Ensure all deliveries are secure, on time, and properly documented.
Assist in minor office/admin tasks when needed (filing, photocopying, etc.).
Coordinate with departments and clients regarding delivery schedules and statuses.
Maintain confidentiality of all documents handled.
Collections Duties
Collect payments, receipts, signed documents, and other required materials from clients or suppliers.
Ensure proper documentation and secure handling of collected funds or documents.
Turn over collections to the Finance/Accounting department following company procedures.
Verify completeness and accuracy of all collected items.
Submit daily or weekly collection reports as required.
Deposits Duties
Handle daily or scheduled bank deposits of cash, checks, or other financial documents.
Ensure accuracy in deposits by double checking the total amount to be deposited and secure transport to the bank.
Obtain validated deposit slips and turn them over to Accounting promptly.
Keep detailed records of all deposit transactions.
Maintain the highest level of honesty, confidentiality, and accountability in handling company funds.
Qualifications
At least High School Graduate/College level
Additional driving or safety training is an advantage.
Valid Professional Driver's License .
Experience in driving, messengerial work, collections, or bank transactions is preferred.
Good knowledge of local routes and navigation apps.
Trustworthy, organized, and reliable.
Physically fit and able to lift packages.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
