Our Civil and Mining Business Group which provides civil engineering services to complex, community building projects is looking for a Drainage Engineerthat will deliver the primary functions below:
Working with the Design Team Leader, as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team across a variety of Infrastructure projects with clients ranging from key transport providers to defence and major mining clients, this position will predominantly be involved with:
Delivery of flooding and hydrology models and reports for the roads team, as well as other business groups
Design of drainage models, reporting and Autocad outputs
Coordination with other disciplines for design models, suitable for digital issue to our end client and for construction purposes
The role includes but is not limited to the following tasks:
Undertake flooding, hydrology and drainage design and reporting
Prepare design concept drawings and ideas for discussion and conceptual development.
Prepare detail drawings that require a degree of technical design utilising knowledge of relevant design guidelines
Prepare calculations for quantities
Recommend improvements and innovations
Carry out quality checks and procedures in accordance with GHD procedures
Work as part of a team on larger projects
Technical Competencies and Experience:
Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering (e.g., Bachelor of Technology, Associate Degree, or similar) and have a passion for civil infrastructure design
Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Experienced in the use of Civil 3D / 12D design software
An eye for detail with a strong focus on the production of quality outputs
Strong capability in the compilation/modification of AutoCAD drawing files
Able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, including delegation of workload to junior team members
Focus on client service
This job offer can be based either in Makati orQuezon City office, depending on your home base / location.
