Job Summary
The Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by architects, engineers, and designers. This role requires proficiency in CAD software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various
departments.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software.
Follow specifications and calculations to develop accurate drawings.
Prepare both rough sketches and detailed work
Perform calculations for materials and weight limitations.
Communicate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to incorporate knowledge gained into drawings.
Review and revise drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documents.
Qualifications
Associate's Degree or certification in drafting, CAD or related field.
Proven experience as a Draftsman or in a similar role.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Strong understanding of technical drawing and design principles.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
Familiarity of 3D Modeling software.
