SUMMARY OF ROLE
SunPower is seeking a Document Management Associate who will be dedicated to executing Document Control activities within 5-month period that are related to document review and approval, executing dispositions for sunset review global, SharePoint and Arena systems clean up and document management assistance to users. The Document Management Associate reports to the Document Management Team Lead.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains a document management system compliant with regulatory, quality, company, and customer (both internal and external) requirements.
Maintains databases and systems to manage document review and approval work flows
Performs document review in both ARENA and SHAREPOINT and release documents after approvals have been secured.
Conducts peer document review audit, analyze results and drives document review performance improvement
Closes the loop with customers and system administrators in case there are complaints from users or in case system or process issues are encountered
Provides guidance and advice to document owners and users on methods, procedures, standardization and requirements
Conducts training on Document Control and Management processes and the use of systems and tools
Continuously reviews and initiates improvements on systems and processes related to Document Control and Management, BOM Reviews and Product Lifecycle Management as necessary
Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into released document
Builds a culture of compliance to Sunset Review and other Quality requirements based on ISO 9001 standards and company policies and protocols
Supports audits (internal, external, 3rd party) in order to verify that regulatory and quality requirements have been met.
Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Company Quality standards, rules and regulations
Performs other duties may be assigned.
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree in Engineering (any discipline) or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
At least 3 years of experience
Mastery of Document Control and Product Lifecycle Management standards
Proficiency in MS Office application and knowledge in the use of SharePoint online
Proficiency in English Language (both oral and written)
Good communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively multi task and maintain a high level of organization and process discipline
Team-player and result-driven
Can work under minimal supervision
Knowledge in ISO 9001 standard
Experience in the use of 8D, SPC, Kaizen, and other problem-solving tools and analytical techniques
