ABOUT THE ROLE
 
We are a growing distribution company operating with a huge distribution network in Bacolod and Iloilo with ongoing expansion plans for an extension warehouse in Iloilo. We are seeking a highly disciplined and systems-oriented Distribution & Operations Manager to oversee warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, and branch supply performance.
 
This role is responsible for managing distribution operations across two warehouse facilities and ensuring efficient supply to multiple retail branches.
 
Main Warehouse: Metropolis near Coastal Road in Brgy Bito-on
Extension Warehouse: De Vicente Warehouse along Coastal Highway 3km from main warehouse Brgy. Napnud Leganes.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Warehouse & Inventory Management
Oversee operations of main and extended warehouses
Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage
Implement cycle counting and variance control systems
Ensure proper receiving, storage, and dispatch procedures
Logistics & Delivery Management
Monitor delivery scheduling and route efficiency
Ensure on-time deliveries to branches and external customers
Track and reduce delivery cost ratios
Branch Supply & Replenishment
Supervise ordering and encoding staff
Standardize replenishment systems for branches
Monitor stock levels and prevent stock-outs
Sales & Distribution Coordination
Work closely with city and out-of-town sales teams
Monitor gross margins and collection performance
Ensure alignment between stock levels and sales demand
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
Submit weekly operational reports
Monitor key performance metrics including inventory turnover, variance, and cost efficiency
Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks
People Management
Supervise warehouse staff, administrative staff, and support personnel
Enforce accountability and discipline
Conduct performance evaluations
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in distribution, warehouse, or retail operations management
Experience managing 15+ staff
Strong background in inventory control and logistics
Proven ability to implement systems and process improvements
Proficient in Excel or reporting tools
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Experience in agrivet, feeds, FMCG, hardware, or similar industries is highly preferred.
