OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE
To establish a network of distributors across the country to grow the business in waterproofing, joint sealing, flooring, grouting, concrete protection & repairing segments via indirect channels in order to access a bigger market and manage the channel partners according to strategy. Initial focus areas are in the main cities.
Develop assessment criteria catalogue to select appropriate channel partners.
Develop pull marketing strategy to generate demand for channel partner and implement, supported by technical marketing, salespeople and technical service.
Develop and manage channel partner pricing, promotion, incentive and or loyalty program, trainings and support channel partner to manage inventory to keep expired stock at minimum level.
Achieve or exceed yearly sales and margin targets, manage prices, customers and cost.
TASKS
Implement channel partner models to grow market share, manage product portfolio according to strategy, prepare and implement marketing plan, monitor financial KPIs, manage pricing proposals, analyse market to support decision on future product development strategies, etc.
Establish Channel Partner Network
Approach potential channel partners according to existing data, present and discuss MBS commodity product portfolio, supported by technical service manager
Assess potential partners' strategic fit and readiness and select target partners, according to territory distribution strategy
Draft agreement with regard to product portfolio, stock level, prices, budgets
Set up distribution agreement
Collaborate with production, demand planner, customer service and logistics personnel to establish a communication path with the distributor to ensure high service quality in terms of response and delivery
Implement marketing measures to enable channel partner to represent its product portfolio in line with the brand approach
Support channel partner to launch its product portfolio
Channel Partner Management
Maintain close contact with the distributors' key personnel and collaborate with its internal functions, eg. credit management, legal, production etc
Follow up on channel partner payments
Participate in meetings for customer problem resolution; if necessary, work with customer services personnel and technical manager to deal with complaints.
Develop and manage channel partner incentive and or loyalty programs.
Organise trainings to channel partner personnel, introduce new products.
Provide and update marketing material, supported by marketing support
Support channel partner to manage inventory and generate demand by direct marketing activities if products are going to expire
Gather sales forecasts and monitor actual sales performance in order to manage its inventory and merchandise products
Manage distribution contracts, ensure proper implementation of its branding rules
Regularly (monthly) provide reports regarding customer profiles, business opportunities, market research, territory assessment, sales data, analyses on product consumption/ performance, logistics services, problem areas and solutions etc, as base information to review sales/marketing/pricing plans or objectives

JOB REQUIREMENTS
University degree in Business Administration/ Economics, preferably with focus channel management or marketing, otherwise civil engineering background with strong affinity to marketing/distribution
Min. 10 years' experience in channel management/ distribution management in a MNC
Preferably with work experience in construction industry
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Good excel and power point skills
Willing to travel frequently
