DISTRIBUTION ASSISTANTS
 
SUMMARY
 
Distribution Assistants are employees under the leadership of a distribution supervisor. The tasks of the assistants depend on the industry they are working in like shipping or receiving, food, building, and general services industries. They take charge of the preparation of items for shipment or distribution. They process payments and ensure compliance with safety regulations and measures. The skills needed for this job include inventory management, organization, and writing.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Contract labor assigned in the Dispatch execution process.
Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP)
Execute dispatch based on plans scheduled by the Dispatch Planner and Logistics Planning Department.
Coordinate with Service Prepare Daily Shift Update Reports.
Implement/Comply safety procedures and practices in accordance with CEMEX / WHSE Standards Center regarding diversions, changes in sales order and pick up client;
QUALIFICATIONS
Computer Literate.
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures (MS Words, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Data entry experience.
With experience about monitoring and inventory management.
Working knowledge of general office equipment.
Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Must be a College Graduate (Male/Female).
At least 1 year experience as Distribution Assistant, Logistics or equivalent.
Can work under pressure and is flexible.
Can work with minimal supervision.
Can start Asap.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Tagalog, Visayan, English.
CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATION
Membership in relevant organizations as well certificates (see Education and/or experience)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be present in the site during working days. Unless otherwise assigned and or directed to you by the direct supervisor and/or employer to have work related trips outside the site.
Must be physically fit.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Onsite and field work.
