Reporting to a VP, the Director Consulting will be responsible for delivery of consulting services to Banking/Financial Services companies headquartered in the GTA. A key focus for the leader will be to build key business and IT relationships with target customers facilitate the identification of issues, risks and decisions and change requests. A successful candidate will need to be able to find opportunities, identify the best solution, and lead delivery of the engagements. Your future duties and responsibilities: The Director Consulting will maintain accountability delivery within the target account Success will be required across the following areas of responsibility: . Lead the delivery of consulting services to complex organizations . Drive quality of delivery and customer satisfaction . Maintain and fortify relationships with strategic alliance partners . Recruit high quality members to CGI through solicitation and professional networking. . Encourage the development of the team's capabilities and expertise in line with client needs/market evolution. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . A credible authority in the business operations of Canadian and/or US Banking/Financial Services companies . 10 + years of growing responsibility in a technology consultancy with demonstrated track record of delivering complex integration programs . Experience in and knowledge of wealth management domain. . Plan, organize, lead and monitor the activities of the collaborating teams, programs or Project Managers . Ensure that there is adequate staffing on the project and that all staff are competent in procedures applicable to their roles . Maintain overall control of the schedule and the delivery of all expected deliverables . Prepare the management deliverables (e.g. project plan, work plan, management reviews, request for changes, outstanding issues and risks) and seek approval when necessary . Experience with new technologies and methodologies: e.g., Agile, DevOps, Cloud, RPA etc. is a significant asset. Education: .
