Job Description
The purpose of this position is to provide oversight of the security function to create and sustain a productive work culture. Additionally, this position must respond to incidents, and protect the company's interests while mitigating threats to the assigned area of responsibility.
. Provide support and analysis for business line proposals
. Assist as required in protecting the company from natural disasters, civil unrest, acts of terrorism, and other workplace accidents
. Provide oversight, counsel, planning, and response to kidnapping or hostage taking of company employees or sub contractors
. Provide countermeasure planning and management support through vulnerability analysis for engineering, procurement, and construction projects in domestic and overseas locations
. Provide investigative expertise for sensitive investigations such as fraud, bomb threat, theft, embezzlement, ethics violations, conflict of interest, senior management issues, and other alleged wrongdoing
. Provide oversight and advice on the use of both proprietary and contact guard forces
. Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
. Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eighteen (18) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty-two (22) years if non-degreed some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
. Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
. Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
. Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent plus eighteen (18) years Security experience
. Prior military and/or contingency operations experience preferred
. Knowledgeable of current security vulnerabilities and threats
