Cultivates the knowledge of key customers and competitors. Identifies brand growth opportunities. Interacts closely with channel and payer account teams to make sure they understand and implement the market access strategy. Design, build and maintain the novel antibiotic brand value propositions for target segment population-based decision makers integrating clinical, economic, humanistic/quality and other elements that align benefits to valid formulary decision maker needs. Develop payer marketing plans, aligned with provider brand plans, that integrate each element of the marketing mix to fit key objectives: price (list price, discounts, rebate guidelines etc.), promotion (value story, channel and pull-through), place (distribution channel) and product (package s, safety features, etc.). This includes navigating a heavily matrixed organization to influence strategic priorities and coordinate key initiatives. Create, produce, train and maintain supporting promotional and non-promotional interventions for target segment channels: Branded value message materials for account teams Rebate programs and supporting tools to customize price and value aligned with customer need Coding, coverage and payment content for use w/ patients, providers and payers Support account negotiations where appropriate through review and consultation on business cases and internal executive governance approvals. Support aligned Health Outcomes research agenda throughout brand lifecycle that validates relevant value messages with a focus on FDAMA Section 114 opportunities Interfaces with global market access team and ensures development plan provides necessary data to support US payer needs. Why you Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelors Degree in business or related discipline. Market access experience in the US pharmaceutical industry. Demonstrated experience with commercial aspects of the drug development process through to launch. Experience managing direct reports. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Post Graduate Degree. Deep understanding of pricing, reimbursement, access and distribution dynamics for pharmacy and medical benefit products Extensive access support services strategy and execution experience, preferably with a range of products Launch experience in a market access function Experience integrating payer strategy with reimbursement support and access pull-through programs in support of meeting company business objectives Market access & reimbursement expertise for products reimbursed under the pharmacy benefit/Part D Deep understanding of the laws and regulations governing provision of access support services Demonstrated understanding of commercial and public payer customers (i.e. PBM, MCO, employer, Medicaid, Medicare) and the complex dynamics among key players that influence patient access to therapy Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
