Job Overview
The Director for Marketing is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of an organization's marketing and branding strategies for all business units across the different countries of operation. The overall objectives and strategies include network development support, product sales, revenue, profitability, pricing strategy, product life cycle strategy, positioning, distributor incentives/promotion, competitive intelligence, market research, and the development of new products and enhancements including an effective market launch strategy.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Oversees the day to day activities of the Marketing Division supporting all business units of Santé, both local and international locations.
• Oversees all aspects of product development, corporate marketing & communications, brand strategy & awareness, digital marketing, public relations, and advertising
• Ensures corporate communications, through its platforms and campaigns is cascaded effectively across the different distribution channels and to targeted audiences/customers in order to meet sales and growth objectives.
• Responsible for the creation of innovative marketing strategies that will strengthen the business' brand leading to increased sales, awareness, brand-recall and relevance among the distributors and customers both in the local and international market/operations.
• Manages all phases of product life cycle and oversees/support staff that manages all activities for Philippines and International Market.
• Leads the Product Development/Management Committee. Creates and maintains a structure that effectively collaborates with senior management to set product portfolio objectives and strategies, along with distribution channel strategies in the Philippine and International markets.
• Develops and manages the marketing, advertising, and promotion programs related to the company's products and services. Develops and implements sales campaigns, promotions and incentives for distributors, retail outlets and customers.
• Identifies market potentials and data analytics by leading internal sales, market/customer research and remain constantly in the lookout for new product opportunities, utilizing market research whenever necessary to ensure brand health.
• Develops, follows and implements corporate branding strategies and guidelines.
• Builds and leverages the digital presence for web, mobile, video, and social media platforms to achieve targeted brand presence.
• Measures performance of marketing initiatives, regularly reporting progress to the Executive Committee and making recommendations to attain company objectives.
• Develops and control the budget of all marketing functions to ensure that all financial targets are met and that all necessary financial controls are in place.
• Provides sales support in realizing market opportunities such as, but not limited to, sales promos, events, logistics, digital initiatives, customer relationship management, etc.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration/Management or other related course. With MBA, an advantage.
• With atleast five (5) years proven experience and success as a Marketing Director, CMO or equivalent level in an FMCG, Direct Selling or any sales organization.
• Possesses excellent leadership and communication skills and has a proven success in innovative, digital and traditional marketing/sales campaigns across different marketing channels. Highly creative. With a highly analytical mind-set with superior problem-solving skills. Strategic and Critical Thinker.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills; Excellent organization and leadership skills; Strong strategic and business mindset; Solid understanding of data analysis, forecasting, budgeting and business operations.
