• Bachelor's Degree from Tier 1 Universities/colleges in Computer Science/Statistics/IT/ECE
stream
• MS or Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research,
Economics, or equivalent
• 10-15 years' work experience
• Experience with some of these methods: Regression, Decision Trees, CART, Random Forest,
Boosting, Evolutionary Programming, Neural Networks, Fuzzy Systems, Bayesian Belief
Networks, Support Vector Machines, Ensemble Methods, Association Rules, Singular Value
Decomposition, Principal Component Analysis, Cluster Analysis
• Experience in some of these applications: Collaborative Filtering, Personalization, Consumer
Segmentation, NLP, Text Analytics, Information Retrieval, Search Relevance.
• Familiarity with time-series analysis and implications on how to model and test
• Solid data management and statistical modeling skills: R, Python (SciPy, NumPy), SQL and
Excel
• Experience with Big Data. Distributed computing (e.g. map/reduce) is a plus, especially Hadoop,
Mahout, Pig, Hive.
• Good at exploratory data analysis preferably through dashboards built using PowerBI (or any
visualization tool).
• Mastery in dashboard development in at least one of the visualization tool e.g. Power BI, Tableau
• Mastery in admin activities for supporting refresh of dashboards
• He/she should have solid understanding of ETL tools, SQL & PL SQL
• Must have worked on at least one of the database i.e. SQL Server, Oracle
• Have been end to end implemented the BI & Reporting solution
• Mentor team members in the area of BI and Visualization and provide guidance as necessary
• Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
• Good project management skills
• Ability to work as a consultant
