Reporting to a VP, the Dir Position Description: CGI seeks a senior technology leader who is a builder with extensive experience leading global delivery for large Managed Services engagements in the Canadian banking and financial services industry. Reporting to a VP, the Director Consulting Services (DCS) is a technologist at heart who is responsible for the growth of CGI's technology services to GTA-based Banking and Financial Services companies. A key focus for the leader will be to design, develop and structure 24X7 application and infrastructure managed services solution that includes consulting, outsourcing, partner solutions, IP based solutions, and other related services. A successful candidate will build key business and IT relationships, identify opportunities, structure the best solution, capture the sale, build the right team, and lead the delivery of the proposed solution. Your future duties and responsibilities: The DCS will be accountable for the new sales, revenue management, profitability, client relationships, service delivery, client satisfaction, hiring & mentoring, and member satisfaction for the target account. The DCS will have a team of 15 to 20 members locally, and additional members globally as required. Success will be required across the following areas of responsibility: . Design, develop and structure 24X7 application and infrastructure managed services solution that includes consulting, outsourcing, partner solutions, IP based solutions, and other related services . Responsible for support of a high availability, high performance, critical banking applications and related services . Lead and manage to achieve targeted revenue and profitability . Build and grow the funnel of opportunities and lead expansion into our target accounts. Anticipate change and monitor macro-economic environment to identify and qualify opportunities . Develop customer-centric capabilities to win large, multi-year deals . Accountability for guiding the organization from initial opportunity through the closing of the contract to the delivery of the services . Recruit new high quality members through solicitation and professional networking . Fostering the development of the team's capabilities and expertise in line with client needs/market evolution. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 5 to 10 years of operations management experience leading high-performance teams . 5 to 10 years of experience with increasing responsibility in a technology services delivery with demonstrated track record of converting client trust into new engagements . Demonstrated success building and managing executive (C-Suite) relationships within GTA-based Banking and Financial Services companies .
