Come join an amazing team! Kindred Bravely is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Digital Assets Lead who wants a flexible schedule (remote work!) and to help us make HER day.
Kindred Bravely is an online retailer for pregnant and breastfeeding moms who want something comfortable to wear. We are a growing team of 80+ based all over the world. Our team culture is grateful, brave, generous & encouraging. We all work together to create the best possible shopping experience and products for our customers. Oh, and did we mention we're on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately held companies for three years in a row!
Opportunity (the job): The perfect candidate for this job is someone who is equal parts creative and organized - capable of project management for the robust photo and video pipelines, and a passion for photography and an ability to gather feedback to move projects along. This is an internal creative role which requires attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for the creative process. You will partner with key internal stakeholders to ensure all pre-production photo needs are accounted for, and all post-production photo assets are delivered timely - in accordance with the needs of the business, the brand style guide, and creative expectations. This role reports to the Creative Manager. You will work closely alongside the Associate Photoshoot Producer to be the outward face of photography needs across the business, by both documenting project requests and diligently managing the photo editors' work - maintaining priorities and scheduling. You will review final work with the Creative Manager and ensure it is delivered to the appropriate teams, and cataloged and tagged within our Digital Asset Management platform.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. We are open to helping you create a schedule that works for you but you must be able to overlap with US business hours for at least 4 hours per day.
Skills We're Looking For:
We are looking for someone who...
Is both visually and analytically driven, and pays attention to the smallest of details.
Troubleshoots issues and doesn't take no for an answer-patiently ready to solve the next puzzle until it is resolved.
Is super curious and runs experiments to test their hypotheses.
Is a finisher. Do you hate leaving projects unfinished? You must love the details of your work, and work dutifully to ensure product listings are completely correct.
Is an efficient multi-tasker who is able to work on three brands and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
Is tech-savvy and is well-versed on the ins and outs of using cloud-based project management and collaboration tools.
Is an excellent communicator, who shares knowledge and ideas with our contractor partners and amongst the team, inspiring a culture of open dialogue and collaboration.
Wants to learn and grow into their career.
Bonus Skills:
Asana experience for project management.
Experience with photography and an understanding of basic photography concepts.
Responsibilities Include (But are not limited to):
Manage and optimize photo editing workflows and establish best practices across photo editors and contractor partners
Lead the team of photo editors and manage all projects within the photo editing pipeline to ensure that each stage of a project moves forward to timely and approved completion by monitoring job status, helping manage change requests, and resolving discrepancies.
Work closely with the Associate Photoshoot Producer to upload and organize raw image files sent from photographers and prepare the files for editing.
Coordinate and info-share around status of deliverables across internal teams
Manage the digital asset workflow to ensure all assets are named according to established conventions, and organized and tagged according to established taxonomy
Work with the assets team to maintain the DAM tool so that all assets are current, color corrected, edited according to established guidelines, and regularly scrubbed of outdated imagery.
Work with the Creative Manager and Design Lead to manage all incoming photo editing requests and assist with project prioritization and assignments.
Meet weekly with marketing and design teams to ensure priorities are set and deadlines are met, and provide daily and weekly status updates to Creative Manager and key stakeholders.
Provide coaching and guidance to team members on best practices for photo editing and digital asset management, and optimizing workflow and processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What we believe:
She is the reason we exist: We have created a genuine connection with her. She feels seen and heard. She is an integral part of every decision we make.
Work/Life Balance is an imperative: We value both work and family and bring our best selves to each by ensuring balance.
Team Work Makes the Dream Work: We share ideas, feedback, struggles, wins and frustrations. We care for each other professionally and personally.

How we act:
We have a BIAS FOR ACTION: We move quickly. We take smart risks. We solve puzzles. We make things happen.
We HOLD OURSELVES ACCOUNTABLE: We all own the business. We clearly communicate key metrics and standards and review them regularly. We analyze results to understand why we made a decision. We are disciplined.
We LEAD, NOT FOLLOW: We are innovative. We are curious and resourceful. We are driven and competitive (but not with each other).
We communicate GENUINELY & TRANSPARENTLY: With each other and with her. We are present.
We are ALWAYS LEARNING: We improve ourselves and continually look for ways to enhance the skills and abilities of our entire team.
