Job Description
ABOUT THE JOB:
Open to Philippine residents ONLY!
We're hiring an experienced Diabetic Educator who also has an active Philippine Nursing License to support the diabetic population of one of our client's clinics by providing nutritional counseling.
This role will require you to work remotely and full-time from Mondays to Fridays, US TIMEZONE, specifically Pacific Standard Time. This opportunity will also require you to have your own working equipment. Please refer below to learn more about the required specifications for your working equipment.
The salary offer is $1042 per month with benefits such as HMO and PTOs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job duties may be modified based on experience and fit within the company.
Provide and customize nutrition counseling based on each patient's condition
Prepare diet and eating instructions
Instruct Proper Insulin Injection Techniques
MUST HAVES:
Experienced in providing nutrition counseling, and diabetic education for at least one year
Diabetic Educational Background
ACTIVE PH Nursing License
Ability to assure the accuracy of all documentation and records
HIPAA Accreditation/Certification
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good bedside manner and interpersonal skills to communicate with patients effectively
Demonstrate strong English communication skills both written and verbal
Must have own equipment/tools
PC/Laptop - minimum of i3 / Ryzen 3 processor and at least 8GB RAM
Main Internet Service Provider - must be a wired connection with at least 25mbps internet speed
Backup Internet Service Provider - can either be a wired connection or a wireless connection (modem broadband or pocket wifi) with at least 10mbps for both upload and download speed
