DevOps Manager
Responsibilities:
Responsible for fast and reliable delivery to our Asia clients.
Requirements:
5 years of experience working in network engineering for an ISP, hosting provider or
CDN
Speaking and Reading English is mandatory
Client-oriented attitude
Problem solving skills
Fantastic communication & negotiation skills (both verbal and written)
Great organization and prioritization skills
Result oriented
Exposure to cloud environments and systems like AWS, GCE, Azure, Softlayer
Solid understanding of how the internet works - from client to server, and everything in-between. HAProxy, nginx, and Varnish are not foreign to you
Speaking and understanding of chinese is a plus
Must have gaming industry experience is a plus
Skills:
Understanding of China Clients like Browser and Devices
Full understanding of Network layers
Setup of DataCenters including internal Networks and firewalling
Knowledge about CDN's(ChinaCache or CDN Network)
Traffic engineering, DNS management, DDOS mitigation
Comprehensive knowledge of how Internet Network works: TCP/IP, BGP anycast, DNS, HTTP, TLS, reverse proxies, etc
Short and long term strategic planning
Create and define SOP
Experience with peering in major global markets.
