Title: Development Operations Engineer
Location: BGC Taguig City
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
A DevOps Engineer who's ready to help us improve our customer experience by building functional systems that bring our business to new heights. You'll need to have strong experience in Amazon Web Services, because you'll be creating cloud formation templates to build AWS services to support custom Java applications-which means you'll need to be fluent in Java, too. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll also be working in conjunction with like-minded departments such as software engineering to deploy these new products and manage our infrastructure, associated processes and systems. It'll definitely help for you to be detail-oriented and a skilled problem solver, because you'll also be helping us to streamline our processes-and automating them where applicable
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Technology, Software Development or technical degree and/or certifications.
Understanding of High Availability and Scalability techniques
Extensive experience troubleshooting complex server infrastructure and network environments.
Experience with server configuration automation tools and automating processes.
Experience administering a production-state system and interacting directly with customers.
Ability to work as part of a team in building, administering, and deploying automated systems.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in documenting and teaching installation and configuration processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
The candidate will have a strong technical background with experience working in medium to large-scale environments.
Work as part of a cross-functional team to provide technical support, troubleshooting and complex problem resolution on escalated issues while monitoring and maintaining application environment stability.
Provide support during large scale scheduled maintenance and disaster recovery efforts
Identify, research, and develop system process improvements and recommends them to management for implementation/automation
Create, use and maintain resource documentation for reference and troubleshooting problems
Create and follow change requests in accordance with change management policy
This position operates in a 24x7x365 environment. Participate in the rotating "on call" schedule with other members of the team.
Running AWS-based automation, system level automation and troubleshooting issues when they arise.
Linux and Windows OS administration
A general understanding of cloud technologies and/or experience with AWS (EC2, ELB, S3, VPC, SES).
Strong scripting experience and software development (Python, PowerShell, Shell, Batch)
Experience with AWS Cloud automation is a plus
