We are in need of:
DESIGN OFFICER (ARCHITECT)
Job Description:
Create highly detailed architectural or structural drawing based on building specifications, calculations, and sketches.
Develop structural, electrical and plumbing designs to incorporate into architectural drawings.
Revise and update existing drawings reflecting on standard details use in projects.
Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and other project documentation.
Negotiate third party contractors about the feasibility of potential projects.
Ensure and identify problems with project design and write a clear, concise solutions
Work closely with the Engineering department in handling the specific project and ensure the incorporation of comments to the revised designs.
Leads the development of the design, production of the construction documents/plan, and specification of construction projects.
Write and present reports, proposals, applications, and contracts specifying the requirements for the project.
Organize a proper delegation of assignment of design projects to facilities and maintenance team.
Coordinate with the Engineering Department to meet or exceed project deadlines.
Manage and organize activities of all architectural works.
Ensure that the projects are running within the agreed time frame.
Supervise and conduct inspections to site works in compliance with the company standards.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by the immediate head and/ or higher management from time to time.
Job Qualifications:
Relevant experience in Mall Planning, Property Management, and Construction industry is an advantage.
Candidate must possess at least a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Architecture or equivalent.
Preferably at least 3-4 years of experience as an Architect or Project Architect Supervisor.
Must have good drawing skills with the ability to work in the three dimensions(3D)
Proficient in MS Office, AUTOCAD, STAAD, Sketch-up, and Solid-works.
Can convert models into 2D/3D detailed approval drawings, erection plans, shop part drawing, and bill of materials in a timely manner to ensure accurate fabrication and on-time delivery.
Well-versed with 2D/3D CAD software operations and willing to extend hours if needed.
