Develop and prepare architectural and interior design drawings from senior designers' preliminary concepts, sketches, and specifications using AutoCAD (Plans, elevations, sections, and other necessary drawings)
Work with architects and designers to gather project requirements, materials and product specifications, and other materials needed to elaborate on detailed shop drawings.
Develop and produce As-built drawings, workshop drawings, Detailed Joinery Drawings, and other detailed drawings as necessary.
Visit sites if needed to perform site surveying of dimensions and areas for the production of as-built drawings when necessary.
Design diagrams, maps, and layouts to illustrate design concepts and area distributions in AutoCAD.
Produce and organize all design drawings documents including development permits, building permits issued for construction, and site instructions.
Develop Schedules of Quantities and units for production.
Produce Complete documentation packages and produce drawing sets based on project and team needs
Developing Material take-off, survey, and estimates for Bill of Quantities documents, and reporting using Microsoft Excel.
Identify potential operational issues and collaborate with senior designers on issues to improve functionality and executability of designs.
Check and verify design drawings to conform to requirements set by senior designers, design specifications, and design data.
Maintain current knowledge of international building codes and drafting guidelines, and ensure that the final designs comply with regulations and quality standards, report to the senior designers about issues that don't comply with authority guidelines.
Ensure clients' design needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Creating administrative reports when required, and reporting on tasks completed on a daily basis.
Perform other duties as required.
- minimum 2 yrs. of experience in the architecture / interior design industry
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or civil engineering, or any vocational-technical certificate related to the built construction industry.
- Extensive Knowledge of using AutoCAD is a must.
- Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office (Word, and Excel) is a must.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Revit would be appreciated. (not required)
- Photoshop would be appreciated. (not required)
- Excellent Communication Skills in English is a must
- Creative & hardworking
