Position: Design and PMO Administrator
MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is currently looking for a Design and PMO Administrator to join our client who is one of Australia's and New Zealand's leading suppliers of a range of broadband design, cabling and construction services, particularly for next generation cable networks.
The primary responsibility is to work with NZ/MVP Design team to action multiple administration tasks on daily basis to support the design team's operations. Perform administration functions within the Project Management Office 'PMO'.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Design
o Daily progress reporting in accordance with the required format.
o Move and assign jobs to Designers as per the provided matrix which specifies each
Designer's capability.
o Move in ST3 to the appropriate stage both a) approved design jobs and b) claims raised at
client's portal "iTools" and c) declined jobs by the client.
o Send email advice to appropriate Designers for declined jobs that they must undertake remedial action.
o Process Wellington electric and cable car pole permits. Send the design plan and associated application form to the relevant key contacts. Once approvals have been received, move the job to the appitate stage in ST3 including upload of the approval documentation.
o Cable plant alteration "CPAs" to be prepared and loaded for Class1/2 jobs.
o Final checks of completed jobs with loaded documents and move out from design stage 0180.
o Monitor and respond to Design Admin outlook mailbox queries and tasks assigned to client.
o Design at client's portal. Often forwarding the information to the appropriate Designer or
responding to the client.
o Any other admin task assigned by Design Manager or Design Team Leader.
• PMO
o Consolidate reports covering all competencies for NZ and AU.
o Perform data input and ad-hoc requests for NZ and AU that are not specialist in nature.
o Maintenance, file management and escalation of emails in the PMO mailbox.
o Assist with special projects.
o Provide support to competencies that need capacity.
• General
o Attend and constructively participate in team and company meetings.
o Escalate all appropriate matters to the Host Employee or Host Manager or other appropriate client employee on a timely basis.
o Adhere to relevant UCG policy or procedures.
o Adhere to relevant MVP policies and procedures including Human Resources and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
o Perform other reasonable duties as requested by management.

To be qualified, you should be:
• A degree in Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or relevant course.
• Experienced with siteTRAX (project management) software, and other applications.
• Knowledge of telecommunications networks.
• Innovative approach in creating technical solutions.
• Production of detailed documentation.
• Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work within a team and independently.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
