We are looking for a site/estate manager who will report directly to the President or trustees of the organization.
The site manager will manage the relevant properties and areas under the management of the organization and partners, which include a conservation-development estate, a reforestation site, and a geotourism site.
He/she will lead the overall maintenance, construction and developments, liaising with external groups, and site security measures, among others, under the close guidance and direction of the trustees.
We are looking for someone whom we can work with in the long-term and enjoys working in an outdoor/forest environment, is adaptable to various challenges on the ground, and is independent and industrious in taking care of the sites and team.
Superior leadership and decision-making skills
Good communications and external relations skills
Physically fit and enjoys working in outdoor environments
Keen on cleanliness and quality of work
Can work independently and is adaptable
At least 3 years' relevant field experience
Background in construction management and site maintenance, site project management, or engineering is a plus
Driving skills for motorcycles/cars is a plus
Standard working days is 6 (six) days a week on site. Modest accommodations on site may be discussed and provided subject to approval.
Entry Level / Junior, Apprentice Hospitality and Tourism Hospitality 1 opening Bachelor's degree graduate
The Masungi Georeserve is an environment protection project, with a goal to promote sustainability, conservation, and education. Our BHAG is to form part of a UNESCO Geopark. Currently, the area has an effective conservation plan supported by a geotourism plan. The project site is in Baras, Rizal, but the project assistant will report for work in the Quezon City office.
