Job Description:
This is a remote position.
Our Customer is a leading cross-channel customer engagement solution provider for the modern marketer headquartered in Chicago. Our client lets marketers create personalized experiences, cross-channel messaging, and loyalty strategies.
Deployment Specialist
The Deployment Specialist plays the role in executing cross-channel marketing campaigns through our proprietary web-based platform, working on behalf of many of the largest brands in the world. Deployment Specialists are responsible for owning the day-to-day operations of, executing email and other marketing campaigns, building database segments, generating and maintaining reports, and ensuring quality assurance. Deployment Specialists report to a Manager, Campaign Services, and must possess excellent communication skills as they may interface directly with clients both by email and/or phone. The ideal candidate should also be detail oriented, efficient, dependable and a collaborative team player with a positive "can do" professional attitude. We are looking for team players who thrive working in a fast-paced, dynamic division within a large matrixed organization. Experiences with an interactive or agency background are a plus but Cross-channel Marketing will teach and provide all the necessary skills to thrive and be successful in this role. Responsibilities:
Flawlessly execute, test, and deploy email and other marketing campaigns using our proprietary, web-based application. Work closely with campaign management teams to ensure exact specifications are met.
Build database segments based on client and account team instructions.
Perform quality assurance on all campaigns, and assist in cross-checking the work of peers to ensure 100% accuracy
Interacts with internal teams and/or clients as needed with regards to production and application issues
Document and communicate potentially complex solutions to clients in a timely manner
Serve as a communication liaison between clients and account teams when needed
Can tactfully relay technical information to a non-technical audience
Contributes to team, departmental and regional success by sharing best practices recommendations as well as thought leadership and content sharing during local or regional meetings and other initiatives
Organizes and prioritizes multiple projects and customer deadlines with minimal oversight
Other duties as assigned
Build customer trust by consistently delivering high-quality work on or before committed deadlines, and guiding them in ways that produce excellent outcomes for their programs
Requirements
Working knowledge of HTML language
2+ years in client services, marketing, technology, or related field
Bachelor's degree or equivalent strongly preferred. Candidates currently working towards completion of their degree will be considered.
Excellent customer service, organizational, and analytical skills
Comfortable working independently with remote teams across region and timezone.
Exceptional knowledge of the Internet and general computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Exceptional work ethic, with ability to perform under pressure and meet competing deadlines while constantly demonstrating enthusiasm towards clients and team members
Achieves average accuracy of 99.90% across assigned clients in at least 2 of past 4 quarters;
Experience in testing and troubleshooting within multiple browsers or email clients
Consistently completes assigned tasks on schedule, and proactively identifies risks to accuracy or timelines; Consistently updates status in a production tracker and provides updates as needed within status calls and reports;
Understands key technical aspects of assigned account(s); Can independently troubleshoot any issues or identify other resources who can assist when beyond own capabilities; Can manage support ticket/escalation as needed;
Consistently represents Cheetah Digital in a positive way in all communications with the client and executes defined instructions appropriately. Able work with the client to resolve ambiguity in provided requests or assets
Understands incident reporting process and alerts manager of all concerns"
Excellent English skills, including proficiency in both oral and written communication
Familiarity with Litmus email testing platform
Familiarity with Kan ban board task management systems
Strong understanding of relational data, querying/filtering and segmentation
Experience with databases and query tools like Microsoft Access preferred
Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, Adobe Photoshop a plus (must be interested in learning)
Proficiency in Google Suite Apps (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Data Studio) a plus
