QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of BS Electronics or Electronics Communications Engineering
Registered Electronics/ECE Engineer
Relevant Experience in DCS, PLC-SCADA and Standalone PLC's.
Strong background in DCS, preferably GE ALSPA and GE Nexus and
Programmable Logic Control (PLC) trainings
Transmitters and other instruments trainings is an advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. System Design and Configuration:
Designing and configuring the DCS and PLC systems to control and monitor various processes within the power plant, ensuring they meet the specific requirements of the plant's operations.
2. Programming and Logic Development:
Developing control strategies, logic, and programming for the DCS and PLC systems to ensure efficient and safe operation of the power plant equipment, such as turbines, generators, boilers, and balance of plant systems.
3. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Performing troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of DCS and PLC systems to ensure their reliability and availability, as well as identifying and resolving any issues that may affect the plant's operations.
4. Upgrades and Modifications:
Planning and implementing system upgrades, modifications, and expansions to enhance the capabilities of the DCS and PLC systems in line with the evolving needs of the power plant.
5. Documentation and Compliance:
Maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and operational procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
6. Training and Support:
Providing training and support to plant operators and maintenance personnel on the use of DCS and PLC systems, as well as assisting in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
7. Performance Optimization:
Working to optimize the performance of DCS and PLC systems, including tuning control loops, implementing advanced control strategies, and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
8. Project Management:
Participating in the planning and execution of projects related to control system upgrades, installations, and retrofits, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
