We are looking for Database Engineers who will ensure data security, integrity and availability in the organization through development and maintenance of database systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain databases, including relational and non-relational databases, to support business applications and data-driven processes
Develop database schemas, tables, and views, and optimize database performance
Perform installation, configuration and testing of a new database software such as Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
Implement and maintain database security measures, including access controls, encryption, and data masking, to protect sensitive data
Monitor and evaluate performance of database systems, troubleshoot database issues and develop technical strategies to minimize downtime and ensure data availability
Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand database requirements and provide database support and expertise
Develop and maintain database documentation, including data models, schemas, and procedures
Provide technical support to concerns and inquiries relating to database systems used in the production and offices
Stay updated on emerging database technologies and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance database performance, scalability, and security
Job Qualifications:
With a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
With at least 3-5 years' experience in Database Engineer or similar role
With strong understanding of database concepts and technologies such as Oracle and SQL
With hands-on experience with database design, implementation, and administration
With experience with database security measures and best practices
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
