What You'll Do
Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
Develop processes for optimizing database security.
Set and maintain database standards.
Manage database access.
Performance tuning of database systems.
Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
Create automation for repeating database tasks.
Be available for on-call support as needed.
What You Need to Qualify
A graduate of BS Information Technology or its equivalent
At least 5 years experience on the same field
Experience with Administration and Maintenance of SQL Server 2017 and earlier versions (required)
Experience with MySQL 5.x (a plus)
Experience with NOSQL such as MongoDB (a plus)
Experience with MS BI tools such as SSIS, SSRS (required), SSAS(a plus)
Knowledge with advance SQL/Quering, stored procedures, schema design, performance tuning.
Knowledge in using the RDB Tools for database management and administration.
Experience with Python (a plus)
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to pay keen attention to details in a job, situation, report, event, plan, activity, etc., to ensure that information is complete and accurate, and all other aspects are attended properly and adequately; and to follow up with those involved to ensure that agreements and commitments are fulfilled.
Ability to identify and assess relevant information, issues and concerns; relate and compare data from different sources, and identify alternative actions. Ability to approach a problem or situation using a logical, systematic, methodical or sequential approach.
Ability to identify problems, determine possible solutions, and actively work to resolve the issues using various problem solving tools and techniques.
Ability to use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions and or reaching conclusions. Ability to take action consistent with available facts, and constraints.
