Job Description ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Business Metrics Understanding and Alignment Work with Dashboard and Brand Teams on understanding business metrics and aligning on business levers to watch out for to anticipate in-depth customer analyses Alignment with Business Teams on the Marketing and Product Roadmap as an input for short term future customer analyses that may be required Alignment with Data Build on long term possible data ingestion roadmap as a result of understanding where the business is headed on a more strategic level In-depth Customer Data Analytics & Storytelling Work closely with Brand Teams to help understand business problems and be able to provide ways on how to properly ask the right business questions Recommend and establish analytical framework on how to answer business questions, and come up with actionable insights that will provide guidance on key decision making to increase revenues or to reduce costs Provide holistic view of the customers via relevant profiling in terms of demographics, purchasing patterns, product mix, and overall impact on customer spend Understand nuances of customer behaviors in terms of spending and usage patterns, in the context of brand and CFU cuts Provide simple, easy to understand framework for cohort analyses, that will help the business answer questions on revenue dilution or accretion in the context of Promo purchase patterns and Post Mortem analyses Help determine use cases of different insights generated from various studies per brand and per CFU, in the context of opportunities for Convergence-related projects. Recommend ways on further enriching in-sighting techniques by introducing new lenses on data from either internal or external sources, as a way to build and gather more knowledge on the customers. Apply data mining techniques to enable understanding of target market profile for commercial business initiatives. Insight Generation Optimization Determine from historical requests which can be generated regularly, and be progressed into dashboards/automated report generation as a way to streamline work streams of the team Work with Data Build and Dashboard Team, which among the requests from business, shall be progressed into a Self-Serve mode of servicing Regularly review all self-serve and dashboard views and outputs and align with the business on which ones to continue, to stop and to enhance to better streamline work streams. Insights Library Creation Lead in the creation of insights library that will serve as repository of insights used as reference for brands and customer analytics team Utilize insights library as a way to collaborate and use it as a baseline to add more enriching ideas, to create a new level of framework of understanding the customers People & Talent Development Regularly articulate aspiration for a more purposive training program /IDP Develops own PPE based on the Division balance scorecard and section PPE. Define PPE/KPIs of 1-downs and ensure alignment to the Division's balance scorecard Performs regular one-on-ones with direct reports to provide timely feedback and coaching FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES Education and Work Experience Graduate of Statistics, Math, IT, Computer Science, Engineering At least 5 years experience in business intelligence or analytics; Preferred 5+ years of experience Technical competencies Ability to connect Business Requirements and Needs to the Technology roadmap Strong knowledge in marketing and track record in connecting Analytics with business / marketing applications & use cases Knowledge and expertise in Business Intelligence development Proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI and SAS Visual Analytics Programming expertise on the following languages: SAS, Visual Basic, Open Sources (Python, R), SQL. Knowledge in Java a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
