Your future duties and responsibilities: . Work closely with business partners to help translate functional requirements into technical approach, design, and decisions . Consult, design, and build solutions to address the client's business intelligence and data management challenges by following industry best practices . Understand requirements, data models and source to target mappings . Facilitate meetings with system owners and IT leads to capture the application system data use . Review, document and validate existing system data structures and build data model and data dictionary for these systems. . Profile existing systems to identify obsolete data tables and fields as part of system consolidation Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Ability to synthe disparate systems performing similar functions and propose integration approaches, communicate the pro/cons with business stakeholders . Ability to build OLTP type data models . Ability to define API for data integration . Ability to match As-Is to a proposed To-Be data model, and work with stakeholders to account for gaps in the To-Be data model. . Experience using a data modeling tool, such as ER/Win or others. . Experience with Visio . Microsoft Excel and Word Est.
