The Data Integrator works in all phases of reporting application development including design, installation, configuration, physical and logical database design, performance tuning, writing stored procedures and triggers, maintaining security, troubleshooting, providing advanced support. The employee will support multiple application environments. Qualified candidates must be highly knowledgeable of design and administration best-practices. Extensive hands-on experience is required. We are looking for a person who can solve problems and work independently. The ability to translate user requirements into a design which facilitates user access/reporting is also critical. Perform analysis, design, development, and testing activities in support of enterprise reporting, Business Intelligence, and data analytics solutions across a wide range of business and operational functional areas Assist with the design, development, and deployment of next generation data warehouse and tools to support long term information delivery and data visualization needs. Build and administer Cognos pre-production environments, Own the development and ongoing maintenance/enhancements of business reporting systems Design, develop, test and implement scheduled report deliveries, utilizing automated delivery capabilities. Design, develop, test and implement scheduled data integration (ETL) deliveries. Write complex SQL queries to implement performant data integration and reporting solutions Focus on information/data quality by continuously evaluating data standards and data profiling Collaborate with Business Systems Analyst and Quality Assurance engineers to build compliant and quality solutions Provide operational support for new and existing BI and data warehouse components. Setup and maintain documentation and standards. Proactively identifies issues and concerns to management. Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 supports when required Skills: 5+ years of experience with Reporting, Business Intelligence, Data Management, and Data Analytics using market-leading tools, including standard and ad-hoc reporting, dashboards and visualization tools 3+ years of experience in designing, developing and implementing reporting solutions using Cognos with experience in designing dashboards leveraging visualization best practices. Experience in advanced Cognos Configuration and Administration experience. Proficient with SQL; familiar with database design; experience working with large data sets. Experience on industry leading relational database platforms. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server based Enterprise Data Warehouses is a big plus. Detail oriented with ability to independently validate / triangulate data and analysis. Able to prioritize multiple requests while completing deliverables on time. Self-motivated and can work independently. Ability to troubleshoot, track, and resolve day-to-day issues. Passion for excellence and continuous improvement. Experience with Microsoft PowerBI is a big plus.
