Duties and Responsibilities:
• Report to the Database team
• Work closely with the team in delivering databases for the local FMCG marketplace
• Link products appearing in weekly grocery, liquor and pharmacy retailer catalogues to partially matched databases
• Locate and match missing or incomplete product group names by following a prescribed data linking process
• Partially complete databases provided in excel format to the Clerk each week for completion within the week
• Delivery weekly updates for industry specific software
Qualifications and Experience:
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in Data Entry
• Has background in web-search skills and database management
• Basic MS Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain quality of work in repetitive tasks
• Technical aptitude skills
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to remain focused
• Experience or familiarity with relational data tables would be nice to have
• Experience or knowledge of grocery, liquor or pharmacy products would be an advantage
