Job Description
. Provide Business Intelligence (Bl) and Data Warehousing (DW) solutions, consulting, and support by leveraging industry standard/ leading analytics platforms
. Gather requirements, configure/develop, test configuration, and do defect resolution.
. Define data acquisition and data integration design and logical data models that are globally scalable and reusable across source systems.
. Perform DW design and modeling according to Data Vault 2.0 standards.
. Accurately translate customer requirements into technical requirements
. Analyze and validate data and test accuracy of report results Evaluate and define functional requirements for Bl and DW solutions.
. Explore third-party and open-source solutions for speed to execution and for specific use cases
. Partner with appropriate team to ensure performance and delivery meets SLAs
. Tools
. Microsoft SSIS, SSAS and SSRS
. MS Azure and PowerBl experience
. Knowledge of Python, Scala and Spark (Structured data or tabular form)
. Data Vault 2.0 experience is a major plus
Your Profile
. 4-5 years experience as a Data Engineer and/or SQL Developer
. 2-3 experience in Microsoft Power BI, experience with other BI tools is a plus
. Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
. In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
. Experience in Data Vault is a major plus
. Knowledge of the following:
o SQL queries
o Multi-dimensional and Tabular cubes
o Azure Data Factory
. SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
. SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
. SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
. Azure experience and/or Azure certifications are a plus
