Your future duties and responsibilities: . Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases (SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra) . Experience in the physical and logical design of database architecture for relational databases, data warehouses and data lakes . Experience with database optimization, data replication, database recovery and performance tuning . Experience building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures and data sets . Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable 'big data' data stores . Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc. . Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Airflow, etc. . Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets . Experience in the development of software using object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, etc. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering roles . Experience with distributed computing using a cloud-based tech stack on platforms such as Azure . With hands-on Microsoft Azure data ingestion experience . Good Knowledge of Snowflake . Who has leveraged: Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hub, Databricks . Good knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Cassandra et MongoDBPySpark . Good knowlede of python, C/C++, Java . Good knowledge of Apache Spark(Databricks or anyother one), Kafka and NiFi (From Apache) . With 3+ years of relevant technology consulting or industry experience in data & analytics delivery . With 2+ years of experience designing and developing data pipelines, data cleansing routines utilizing typical data quality functions involving standardization, transformation, rationalization, linking and matching . Good knowledge of French or English . Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. Assets: .
