Your future duties and responsibilities: Our Data Architects are responsible for all aspects of data management - from setting the vision for the organisation's use of data to designing and overseeing the implementation of data management, analytics and decisioning solutions. Their duties include data analysis and synthesis, data governance, data modelling, technology section and strategic thinking. Our architects work with a wide range of business challenges and technologies, and therefore their skills as a data modeller and turning business problems and objectives into data architectures are essential. Data is central to all our engagements, whether working as part of a wider architecture team on a large engagement or working with the latest analytics and decisioning technology to develop business insights. With such a wide range of engagements and use cases, the role, and skills, of our data architects vary. However all have excellent data modelling skills and excellent communication skills - listening to and interpreting the needs of stakeholders, facilitating discussions and presenting information in the most relevant manner to the stakeholder. As an Architect within CGI you will be part of an extensive community of practitioners, sharing knowledge and insight with each other and applying the principles behind our risk and cost driven architecture approach that ensures our clients achieve their goals through successful engagements. Relevant experience as a data architect. . Extensive data modelling experience at domain/conceptual, logical and physical levels. . Knowledge of a range of data management, analytics and decisioning solutions. . Experience in working with Stakeholders and others to shape and communicate the data requirements and data architecture .
