Summary:
Design and delivery of technical, data and application architecture solution from overall Solution Architecture, ensuring alignment to Enterprise Architecture strategy, Regional Convergence Target, and business requirement. Data Architecture is foremost priority and specialization required in this position.
Provide expertise and innovative solutions to data architecture issues and support to business and operational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement data strategy which should align with the existing local, regional and global strategy to maximize current provisions with minimal cost
Detailed design of the technical, data and application architecture solution from the overall solutions architecture design
Ensure alignment of the design to the project requirement to meet the stakeholder needs and strategy
Communicate technical architecture design, options and risks to ensure all stakeholders are well-informed and up-to-date on all matters
Consult with the solutions architect and regional architects to ensure alignment to enterprise architecture and standards
Coordinates with the project manager for the implementation of network, server, storage, etc. changes
Qualifications
Graduate of any IT related course
5-8+ years relevant experience
Specialization in Data Architecture (e.g. Big Data, NO SQL, relational databases, etc.)
Excellent communication (written and verbal); can work with minimum supervision; availability to thrive in a fast paced, rapid changing environment
High level understanding of the other technology domains such as:
Hosting (e.g. server and operating systems, virtualization, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS,etc.)
Real time and batch integration (e.g. managed file transfer, REST/SOAP, etc.)
Security (e.g. Identity and Access Management, network, data encryption standards, etc.)
Network
