Welink MCS is hiring for a Data Architect (Manager/Lead) in behalf of a client partner in the Financial Services Industry

Job Summary:
The Data Architect Lead will partner with business stakeholders and business users to understand their requirements. Should be responsible for identifying business process improvement opportunities, and architect solutions and also responsible for data architecture, programming, implementation, and support of various big data projects.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Collaborates with IT teams and management to devise a data strategy that addresses industry requirements
• Builds an inventory of data needed to implement the architecture
• Identifies and evaluates current data management technologies
• Creates a fluid, end-to-end vision for how data will flow through an organization
• Designs, documents, constructs, and deploys database architectures and applications (e.g. large relational databases)
• Integrates technical functionality (e.g. scalability, security, performance, data recovery, reliability, etc.)
• Implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
• Checks refine and reports on the performance of data management systems
• Produces and enforces database development standards
• Maintains a corporate repository of all data architecture artifacts and procedures
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology or related field
• Data Science preferred
• 5 years' experience in a management role
• 5 years' experience in IT delivery and architecture, project management, business analysis, IT planning and design
• Knowledgeable in ****rmation systems design, ****rmation insight generation, ****rmation visualization, data warehousing, data administration, data platform integration, and data mapping
• Strong leadership and communication skills
