Job Summary;
The Data Architect Lead will partner with business stakeholders and business users to
understand their requirements, identify business process improvement opportunities,
and architect solutions. He/she will also be responsible for data architecture,
programming, implementation, and support of various big data projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Collaborates with IT teams and management to devise a data strategy that addresses industry requirements
2. Builds an inventory of data needed to implement the architecture
3. Identifies and evaluates current data management technologies
4. Creates a fluid, end-to-end vision for how data will flow through an organization
5. Designs, documents, constructs, and deploys database architectures and applications (e.g. large relational databases)
6. Integrates technical functionality (e.g. scalability, security, performance, data recovery, reliability, etc.)
7. Implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
8. Constantly monitors, refines and reports on the performance of data management systems
9. Produces and enforces database development standards
10. Maintains a corporate repository of all data architecture artifacts and procedures
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related field coming from Top 3 Schools in the Philippines (or G7 plus Australia and Singapore educated)
• Continued Education in Data Science
• 5years experience in a management role
• 5 years' experience in IT delivery and architecture, project management, business analysis, IT planning and design
• Knowledgeable in information systems design, information insight generation, information visualization, data warehousing, data administration, data platform integration, and data mapping
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Technical Skills:
 Application server software (e.g. Oracle)
 Database management system software (e.g.
 Microsoft SQL Server)
 User interface and query software (e.g. IBM DB2)
 Enterprise application integration software (e.g. XML)
 Development environment software
 Backup/archival software
 Agile methodologies and ERP implementation
