Job Description:
Manage and lead a team or teams to develop, test and produce analytical and operational reports and metrics using SQL, SSRS, Alteryx, Tableau or equivalent reporting tools to assist the business in meeting operational objectives. Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures and identify risks and controls within the operation. Coach and mentor analysts in performing reporting duties. Adheres to technology architecture standards, technology risk management and security policies,and data management policies. Ability to independently review reports and develop analytical recommendations. Develop and execute upon reporting or analytical needs associated with business process changes. Manage analysts to ensure that reports are utilized to lead to analytical insight and data-driven business outcomes. Maintain and launch reports on a recurring basis, examining logic for alignment between multiple, dynamic data sources and business report requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (in order of importance)
Coach and mentor business analysts and information analysts to develop, test and produce operational reports supporting business partners.
Coach and mentor team leads, supervisors or managers to be successful in managing their respective teams.
Actively evaluate risks in the department.
Implement, monitor and evaluate controls to ensure risks are mitigated.
Ensure policy and procedure adherence within the department.
Lead report specific project activities including prioritizing, developing schedules, determining resources, preparing plans, data and documentation, and resolving issues.
Collaborate with management and staff in the development and implementation of all projects and/or initiatives related to operational goals and/or process improvement directives.
Qualifications
TENURE: At least 12 months in current job and process.
PERFORMANCE RATING: Latest Performance Management Central (PMC) rating of at least Meets Expectations. Basis will be both at the point of application and transfer.
CORRECTIVE ACTION: Not within the prescriptive period for attendance and/or behavioral- related corrective action (written warning and above).
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PLAN: Not in any Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) at the time of application and prior movement to the role.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum skills and qualifications should be met as stated in the job posting.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required with concentration in MIS, Risk Management, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred. Background in SQL, SAS Base SAS, SSRS, SAS/Graph, and Oracle environments is required (use of tools like TOAD & SQL plus)
Experience with business process re-engineering and business/user requirements.
Demonstrated knowledge of mortgage banking servicing, operations or originations.
Strong skills to interact with business users including management and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Demonstrated flexibility and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and shift workloads to meet change in demand, requirements or business need.
Five or more years of prior experience in financial services, mortgage banking and/or default mortgage servicing expertise preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Must be able to work well in an environment with defined timelines and delivery schedules
Capability to review and translate functional specifications to validate and ensure business requirements are met
