ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Data Analyst will be working with our clients to gather, analyze, evaluate and organize their data from various sources and systems. You will be working closely with business stakeholders to understand their data and make recommendations on how they can use their data effectively.
You are comfortable with working with data coming from different sources and systems and have a deep understanding on how the data can be used or manipulated to get the desired results or outcome
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the client to document the desired outcome
Evaluate the data sets and source systems to define the fields and purpose
Document findings, observations, and assumptions
Review the findings, observations and assumptions with the stakeholder
Gather additional reporting and/or cleansing requirements
Extract and manipulate data
Develop reports and dashboards
Collaborate with business and IT to resolve data issues
Validate data for accuracy and completeness.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job
3-5 years of progressive experience in data analysis
Strong knowledge of Excel (formulas and pivot table)
Strong knowledge working with data from databases and source systems
Experience collaborating with business and IT teams
Strong problem-solving skills
Experience in writing instructions to solve problems.
Strong knowledge on reporting and dashboards
Familiarity with data terminology and best practices
