Data Analyst Role
What we are looking for:
Our client, a veteran-owned design company looking for a Data Analyst. You will be responsible for organizing, analyzing, and interpreting statistical information to make it useful for the organization to make better decisions by identifying various facts and trends. In addition, you will manage their master data set, develop reports, and troubleshoot data issues that may arise.
A successful Data Analyst should have a broad knowledge of the business and market facets, possess great problem-solving skills to provide solutions and recommendations that will increase profitability and efficiency.
The Data Analyst's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reports for all Departments
Act as the Organization's CRM/business management tools Administrator.
Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
Identifying and managing reporting requirements for the whole organization.
Helping develop reports and analysis.
Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new data systems.
Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
Qualification:
At least 2 years work experience as a data analyst or in a related field
eCommerce experience is required
Proficient in Google Data Studio and Google Analytics
Experience with Pipedrive
Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
Ability to analyze and translate data to help create business decisions
Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Familiarity with different business management software such as CRMs and ERPs
Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing data
Attention to detail, documentation and solution-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Strong Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
A passion for service, pride in the quality of their work, and the instinct to follow-through until a job is properly done well
Good written and verbal communication skills.
