Main Purpose of the role:
Would you enjoy providing business support to a busy BI Customer Support team?
Our team works globally with internal customers and stakeholders to provide them with supporting their query and reporting needs. We create and provide customized reporting and data such as usage, revenue, customer details. The role will provide general administrative support to the entire team in order to support the needs of our customer base.
In this role you will take ownership by coordinating user access prior to training, updating distribution lists, updating rosters, sending out training documentation and materials prior to training. You will assist with updating the monthly tracking metrics for the team. You will assist with managing the team's website and various applications used by the team and our customers.
Key responsibilities
Coordinating logistics for off-site and on-line customers meetings including invitations, booking locations and facilities for attendees. Ensuring a professional and seamless experience for all.
Gathering data, information and facts by using and updating existing monthly metric reports.
Contributing to best-practice initiatives for operational procedures and workflow efficiency through collaborating with internal teams to record Best Practices and implement improvements.
Taking ownership of interesting and varied administration tasks to support the instructor-led course, access to systems etc
Manage various systems to ensure that data is up to date and accurate.
Communicating confidently and widely to ensure that tasks are kept on track and any problems resolved.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree preferred, plus one or more years of working experience, which can include internships or co-ops (data, technology-related courses preferred)
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office
MS Excel Intermediate to Advance Proficiency (knows how to make Pivot Table and Simple Computations).
Ability to take direction from various team members and manage overlapping tasks and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate an eye for detail.
Basic SQL knowledge preferred
Have great organizational skills and be able to provide timely and consistent support to team.
Be able to gather data for analysis from several sources and systems and present it in a clear and readable format.
Be data literate and confident in asking questions to ensure that you understand what is being asked and able to collaborate with the users to provide the right data to answer their questions.
Work effectively within a team, being willing and ready to support others
The ideal candidate would be proactive, efficient, organized, and be able to exercise sound judgement, confidentiality, and use of own initiative.
